
Cursor Technologies Returns and Refunds Policy
At Cursor Technologies UG, we are dedicated to providing exceptional products and services to our valued customers. If you find yourself in a situation where you need to return a product or request a refund for a service, please read our detailed Returns and Refunds Policy below.
Returns
Cursor Technologies UG accepts returns. You can return UNOPENED / UNUSED items in the original packaging along with full accessories if any within 7 days of your purchase or (item on arrival date (online shopping)) with a receipt or proof of purchase.
After receiving the returned item, we will fully examine the product and have it valued basing on state of arrival. You will be immediately notified whether you are eligible for a replacement or a refund (full or Partial refund). Cursor Technologies UG will replace the product or refund the purchased price with deductions if any, using the same mode of payment used at the time of purchase. Transaction charges not included in the negotiation
Damaged or Defective Items
If a buyer received a damaged/defective item, he/she can return the item. (Exception applies)
- Non OEM/Retail products (new or used) or In-Store warranty products: we will provide a return or refund.
- New OEM (original equipment manufacturer) products such as New Video Cards, New CPUs, New Motherboards, New Printers, New Monitors, New Laptops, New Routers, New Access Points, New POE, New Range Extenders are subject to manufacturer warranty only, no in-store return/refund/exchange.
- New Hard Drives (HDD, SSD, and Backup Drives) are not subject to warranty, no in-store return/refund/exchange. Please test to satisfaction before leaving the store.
- New Laptop Keyboards, laptop batteries, power supply units, are not subject to manufacturer warranty, no manufacturer or in-store return/refund/exchange.
- New Memory Sticks (RAM, ROM, BIOS chips) are also not subject to manufacturer warranty and no in-store return/refund/exchange. Please test fully and be careful before you leave the store.
- Please ask a technician at CURSOR Technologies Uganda to assist you with the testing so you can have the best service.
Special Orders
All special-ordered parts cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
Exchange
Exchange of the same item will be straightforward, whereas, for an exchange with a different item, a return/refund will be issued, and a new transaction will be made for the new item(s). Return and refund rules will apply.
Shipping Costs
Refund shipping costs will be refunded to the customer if we had made a shipping error.
The customer is responsible for all shipping and tracking costs for returns and exchanges.
Refund shipping costs will not be refunded for any exchanges or errors by the customer in choosing the wrong product.
If a package is undeliverable to the address provided or is refused at the delivery address, a refund will be issued after the product is returned back to us after deducting the shipping cost both ways/sides plus if any recycling cost imposed by the carrier.
Additional tax/duty/freight/custom/import charges that may be added by the shipping carrier are the customer’s responsibility.
